Thank you so very much Pat! And for the alluring way you worded your description of my site. I so appreciate your "Pond," the good reading and great photos. I intend to direct "my" readers to your site too, because they'll enjoy it as much as I do. Just super busy this weekend, but will do it soon as I can. Also, our neighborhood is having one of our everyone-bring-your-grill-out-on-the-sidewalk events, kids too, of course, and we'll have a party and share our food.
We do that in the winter too, but within our homes, and one time decided to go "house hopping," so wine and cheese at one place, soup and salad at another, main courses and later desert at the third home. And everyone on our block has gardens. We live in the city, in the middle of St. Paul, MN, but our neighborhood feels like we're a small, closely-knit small town.
I guess you could say we've created a habitat of our own.
P.S. Ellie's a short-haired dachshound, right? She looks so sweet and intelligent. Please give her a hug for me.
